Bryndis’ Vision

The Leader Calgary Signal Hill Needs

We Are
United Together

In my Canada, there is more that unites us than divides us. Despite our vast geography, we all share common ground and a common story and we come together when it matters most.

We Feel Supported in Our Greatest Time of Need

In my Canada, we care for one another. We ensure that people can succeed and be supported during the worst times of their lives. This is why I volunteered for the Calgary Young Offenders Centre through Girl Guides Canada and why I was so passionate to help people face employment challenges through my work with LifeMark.”

We Stand on Guard for Thee

In my Canada, we invest in our security. We must be able to protect ourselves at home and abroad in emergencies and from threats. In 1985, my parents were posted to Calgary and our little Air Force family moved to Strathcona, Signal Hill. My parents and grandparents all served, and in doing so, instilled in me how important it is to serve, volunteer, and advocate for the protection of our country, and I will keep serving in any role I am fortunate enough to hold.

We Are a Strong Trading Nation

In my Canada, we thrive on trade and collaboration. We empower businesses to connect with world markets, ensuring our supply chains and networks are second to none. Canadian businesses excel on the global stage, driving prosperity and opportunity for all.

We Are Free to Love

In my Canada, people are free to love whomever they love. Together, we have the power to safeguard love and ensure everyone feels safe and valued. We stand for a country where love is celebrated, without judgement or fear.

We Embrace Innovation

In my Canada, we believe today’s ideas shape tomorrow. We encourage innovation and believe in incentivising Canadians to transform their ideas into reality. We are committed to fostering both individuals and companies to effectively evolve the landscape of research and development. My work with CAWST, teaching people how to bring safe drinking water to other countries through simple and affordable technologies is an example of how innovation can change the world.

We Can Afford the Essentials

In my Canada, key essentials like food and housing are never out of reach for anyone. We should not have to worry about the rising costs of groceries or rent. We need to tackle rising costs to ensure every Canadian can focus on thriving, not just surviving.

We Are Financially Literate

In my Canada, we can easily access the tools and resources needed to understand our finances and how to make decisions that work best for us. Financial empowerment starts with education and we are committed to a Canada where everyone can take charge of their finances.

We Feel Safe in Our Own Homes

In my Canada, we have access to the systems, resources, and supports that empower Canadians to seek the help they need to address challenges and find peace of mind. We need to streamline bureaucracies and ensure Canada is a people-first country and not a paperwork-first country.

We Showcase Our Culture

In my Canada, we celebrate our unique culture by sharing our sense of humour, heritage, and heart with the world. In this way, we honour and preserve our traditions and the values that make us unique.

We Have Respect for Different Opinions

In my Canada, we embrace dialogue. We may disagree, but we take the time to listen and work together to find the best solutions. Respect leads the way to progress and listening is the first step toward understanding.

We Strive for Excellence in Public Service

In my Canada, public service is a model of excellence in customer service where Canadians feel heard, understood, assisted and valued by our government and its representatives.
